When 12-year-old Josh Peters’ dog digs up a gold medallion that supposedly leads to a fortune in hidden Conquistador gold, the boy and his dog pair up with newcomer Ana James to reclaim the treasure in hopes of saving their home and their town. But little did they know that the woods ahead would be riddled with booby traps and plagued by an ancient curse or that two conniving thieves would track them into the endless maze of trees, bent upon claiming the treasure for their own!
